The Scotland on Canvas landscape photography collection

The Scotland on Canvas landscape photography Collection is delighted to be a part of the Crossing Borders organisation, which brings together the artistic skills and styles of numerous Border artists and provides art lovers with all year round access to the best creative talents the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland has to offer. 

Now in its fourth year, the Crossing Borders 2010 Art Trail is an exciting and successful event which runs from Friday 3rd September to Sunday 5th September 2010, when artists from all over the Border Region area opened their studios, galleries and workshops for people to enjoy. Riverview Studio was delighted to be part of this Trail in both 2008 and 2009 and looks forward to meeting you in 2010.

Photo-artist Iain is always pleased to meet visitors at his Riverview Studio and will happily explain some of his photographic techniques and skills, as well as recounting the experiences of his many travels. His stunning photographic collection offers a unique perspective on the Scottish landscape often challenging the boundary between photography and painting.  Bright, bold and colourful, his dramatic fusion of land, light and sky create magical images which will enhance  any home or office space, immediately transforming the interior and giving the viewer a sense of almost being there.
